favorites Bob Hofman, Global Teenager Project
Bob Hofman, Global Learning Innovator, has spent 25 years (facilitating) teaching, with a focus on learning expeditions and ICT policy based development. His strength is in designing innovative global educational programs that are generative, authentic, and respond to the evolving changes our world is facing. Bob is a member of the iEARN International Assembly and international coordinator for the Global Teenager Project. By offering Learning Circles to students in 40 countries+ we enable students to learn with the world, not only about the world. In 2012 Bob became the peerScholar representative for the EU and the peerScholar International Expansion Coordinator.

favorites Anita Townsend, ACT Consulting Solutions Inc
Anita has worked in several large school districts in Ontario working on program development and administration. She was a principal in several K – 8 schools each providing a unique context for leadership. Her most recent school won two national awards for using technology in innovative ways to create more engaging and meaningful learning environments for students. Anita held the position of a central school district administrator coordinating Student Programs K – 12. She was named one of Canada’s Outstanding Principals in 2007. Today her work in education is as an independent educational consultant and the Canadian Coordinator of the Global Teenager Project.

favorites Manon van Herwijnen, Global Teenager Project
Originally Manon started as a teacher in special and primary education and coordinated several projects in her school district. While working in international projects, she became facilitator for the Dutch schools in the Learning Circles in 2012 and is now designing the content of the Circles. Since 2013 Manon is member of the Dutch peerScholar team. She is coaching educators to use peer learning in challenging education, that enables students to learn, wonder and explore together. Connected in the Learning Circles and in peerScholar students are motivated to cross their borders in many ways.
