Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Mohamed Sidibay, and I am going on a 3 weeks long speaking tour in March and April in Europe. I will like to travel and speak in as many schools and places in Europe as possible.
My speech last about 1 1⁄2 hrs. An 1hr of speaking and 30 minutes of Q&A. For younger children it can be shorter or presented in a different way.

The purpose of this tour is to share my story of being a child soldier in Sierra Leone. I will also talk about tolerance, love and the courage to standup and say no to injustice. But more importantly, it is about my struggle to obtain an education while being orphaned and homeless and, the transformation that ensued through the power of education. My presentation will begin with a 5 minutes documentary followed by my child soldier and education transforming lives lecture. Furthermore, I will also be promoting the agenda of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal Number 4, as a Youth Commissioner of the Education Commission on Financing Global Education, a Youth Leader of the 100 million for 100 million campaign and a Global Educator for the MY HERO Project.

I am currently raising money to start law school in September. The cost of application, books, housing and other school related expenses once accepted that I will have to cover for my first year is about $15-25,000. I hope I can afford the costs of my studies by charging a reasonable amount for the presentations during my tour.

I will love to answer any question/s you might have for me.

Regards,

Mohamed Sidibay.
