| We arrived at Halifax airport around 4.30 pm. Three SUV’s were parked outside, ready for a 400 km’s trip from Halifax, via Moncton to Rothesay.Once arrived the students, parents and teachers were waiting for us at Harry Miller Middle School. |

| Day Report by Nathalie and MariahHi everyone,We are in the sky for something like 2 hours. About 4 and a half hours we land at Saint-John, and than we have wait for a hour at the airport, and than we have to fly to Halifax which takes 1 hour.
Unfortunately, we aren’t at our host-family yet. No, we have to drive for 5 hours with a rented car. We where delayed for 5 minutes, so everything takes some longer than was part of the plan. But that doesn’t matter anything because everybody is happy and excited to see Canada and of course your partner. We hope that everybody loves the week and enjoys every second of the day. When we arrived at the school, the parents and the students were already waiting for us. We grabbed our stuff and went inside. We were told to sit down and a few minutes later we were pointed to our host family. When we arrived at their house we got a cup of tea, got our pajama’s on and went to bed. Nathalie was sleeping in Emily’s room and Mariah in Megan’s room. Our first real day in Canada! Mariah was awake around half past 5 and Nathalie was awake around half past 4. We got a cup of tea, got dressed and waited till the breakfast was ready. After half an hour breakfast was ready, the bacon, toast and scrambled eggs were delicious and the home-made jelly was also very good! They didn’t really make a plan for today but maybe we’ll go to the park, the sea or anything. We will go to a Covered Bridge and go to the mall or/and the market. We will like everything because were guests right! We did a lot of nice things today, we did see the Covered Bridge, we went to a nature-park and also other things. It was very nice… But we are so tired; we are going to sleep as soon as we arrived at the house again… Sleep Well…bye bye |
